Writing
Poetry is a type of literature, or artistic writing, that attempts to stir a reader's imagination or emotions. Poets do this by carefully choosing and arranging language for its meaning, sound, and rhythm.
We will continue our poetry unit with two simile color poems... an imagery poem and a sensory poem.
*Download the papers, or open them to to look at the format and write on your own paper.
*Check your poems for correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
*Upload to Seesaw by Friday morning at 9:00 am
We will share all of our poems Friday, May 15th on Zoom.
